New start for SUMMER

The past few weeks have been super busy. Moved to a different town and we all know how much of a big job that is. Finally got a spare moment to gather my thoughts and tell you how Johnny is progressing.

He was AMAZING during the packing, cleaning, moving, unpacking. We got through the days with a minimum of fuss. He didn’t seem to mind that there was no entertainment and that we were busy. He must have known it was something very important that needed to be done. He is loving the new house and feeling right at home. It is highset, and he loves to sit out on the front verandah with us and watch the birds and cars and trees. We also get a fantastic breeze up there which is great for now because its DSC07298extremely hot, and it faces east so we beat the afternoon sun. All wonderful things when you don’t have air-conditioning. We are going to get a little kiddie pool to stick out the front garden outdoor area, its nice and private and will be surrounded by palm trees and all my pot plants. He enjoys the water a lot. Have had to take cool showers together every day around midday for the last couple of weeks.

Johnny had his first dip at the lagoon last weekend, and he was so relaxed he was falling asleep. He finally only just fits in to the little swimmers nappies. We are heading to the pool again today.
